What Information does Troy TV hold ?
Troy TV holds the following general data:
· CVs of freelancers who send in their information looking for work.
· Contacts and details of crew, experts, presenters, actors, suppliers, national or local government authorities, as well as details of public and private locations in the UK and overseas with whom we work, this may include invoices with bank details for payments.
· As a television production company we create audio and video footage, as well as still images of many types of audio-visual productions, usually consisting of interviews, action sequences, B roll.
· Project ideas and paperwork such as release forms and permits.
All information is stored in secure on site, off site and online facilities. Passwords are used and changed frequently. Physical copies are securely stored under lock and key.
Communicating Privacy Information
Individuals or companies can request the full Troy TV data protection guidelines and are entitled to know which information we store, and how we store it, as it pertains to them. They may not receive information about third parties.
Troy TV does not pass on personal details or information out of the context of the audio-visual productions created. The company does not hold databases of information or share personal details with third parties other than those required by broadcasters for transmission, or by HMRC and our Accountants for accounting purposes.
Individuals can request the Troy TV Data Protection Guidelines, they can review the information held and rectify the information and in certain circumstances, request removal of information.
Troy TV does not engage in data profiling or sharing.
There is no automated processes in place that use personal data in any way.
Subject Access Requests
Troy TV will answer all requests swiftly and without charge, unless the request requires employing additional staff, or it generates costs from our legal or accounting personnel.
Lawful Basis for Processing Personal Data
All processing of personal data is carried out in relation to audio-visual projects and the related work pertaining to Troy TV. All Individual instances can be detailed in writing whenever necessary.
Troy TV is a small company so a data breach should be easy to spot and contain.
Passwords are changed at least twice a year and physical security of files and hard drives is maintained.
In case of a data breach, individuals and companies will be notified, as will the ICO should the breach result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, this includes discrimination, financial loss, economic or social disadvantage or loss of confidentiality.
